Wordless Wednesday – My kids and the camera

Finding photos on my camera that the kids have taken is one of my favorite things… usually. Now that Mr.T. is learning about photography in his art and design for business class this semester, he’s been actively taking photos (and changing all of my camera settings) as well.

Oops! I had thought Mr.T. took these first 3 photos but I was wrong! they are Pie’s as well!

may flower photos

Yes, of course Pie is still a ferocious picture taker and I have to delete more than I keep, the ones we do keep are just beautiful though. Pie did a great job capturing the blossoms on our plum tree and the bright yellow dandelions that Super G. calls a weed. I think they’re pretty :) She informed me this weekend that she will be working for National Geographer as a “wildlife photographer” when she grows up. <3 I love the speculative look on that Red breasted Grosbeak’s face!

I am so jealous of their talent! and I am sure having a better camera helps too. I can not get close enough to my feeders for such pretty close ups. maybe someday I will learn & afford a better camera ;-) I like dandelions too, as long as they are not the thistle/prickly ones!

We just have a point and shoot Nikon P100. I am envious too Faythe because they take better pictures than I do! I miss my old canon lol! The birds here aren’t as afraid for some reason. We do have the feeder about 4 feet from the living room window so they must be used to us, we sit right in plain site and watch them. After reading your WW post I put up my hummingbird feeder and we have 6 Baltimore Orioles at it and the suet as I type! They are beautiful!
