Make it a “Date Night” this Friday!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of 20th Century Fox. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love a good comedy, especially a romantic one, Super Genius however, does not. He’d rather watch something that is non stop shoot outs and car chases. When I saw the preview for the Date Night Movie I knew I had to see it, and I think Super G will like it too. First of all Tina Fey and Steve Carell are two of our favorite TV actors. I laugh just looking at them. Tina Fey reminds me so much of the OLD Saturday Night Live (you know the funny ones!) and Steve Carell, well he’s just so out there I can’t help but laugh.

Date Night Synopsis: In “Date Night,” which opens Friday, a bored suburban couple played by Steve Carell and Tina Fey go on their weekly dinner date and find themselves thrown into a night of intrigue: there’s breaking and entering, a car chase, a shootout and a showdown with an underworld boss at a strip club. Husband and wife come out of the adventure with some scratches and also with their ardor renewed.

The way that director Shawn Levy talks about the way he came up with the idea for the  Date Night script absolutely describes us, and probably 3/4 of married couples out there, to a T! Life can get routine and boring when you do the same things over and over again. I love how the movie shakes things up and the few lines I’ve heard on the web trailer preview just crack me up! I love it when Tina Fey screams “I don’t want the kids to live with your mother! She’s awful!” Lol, priorities about dying.

Why not make it a date night with your other half? Mark your calendars April 9th, 2010 for opening night! (PG-13 (Violence/Profanity/Sexual Situations/Drug Content)
